In 2017, I had the good fortune to visit indigenous communities south and west of Alice Springs in and around the remote Gibson Desert. I photographed the proud Pintupi, Warlpiri, Ngardi, Aranda, Walpiri and Pitjandjara. The images reflect their pride, their patience and their bond with the country and I have formed a fleeting bond that I would like to strengthen over time.
