Le But

The purpose of the Foundation is to carry out and support, in France and abroad, all projects of general interest and non-profit of a social, family, environmental, educational, and humanitarian nature, in favor of literacy, education, and protection of children (especially young girls) in a situation of great precariousness, distress and misery, sick or mistreated.

OUR MISSION :

Our mission is to help women-founded charity organizations raise money for specific projects to ensure the education and protection of children worldwide. We create a specific project with them based on their priorities.

To raise the funds needed for the projects, we organize different art events, such as photo exhibitions, and art auctions, throughout the year. More than 40 International artists generously donate their artworks to help us raise funds.

These statements are the core beliefs of several of the charities we support and strongly reflect our ethos.

How it all started

The base for A WISH FOR HUMANITY started during a 4 years stay in Papua New Guinea from 2011-15.

I had the chance to create and support several schools for the local children and ensure certificated teacher training for local women to run the schools.

Awareness programs against sexual violence were set up for women. And it clearly showed, that the women who had participated in our sessions, experienced far less violence at home and they were able to protect their children much better. 

It showed me the power of education and empowerment in all its forms and how it changed the lives of both women and children

Lisbeth Monéton,

Founder, President and daily leader

Lisbeth has 25 years of experience owning fashion companies in Denmark, France, and the USA. 

Lisbeth had the opportunity to create as well as support English-speaking schools, and conducted awareness programs for women during a 4 years stay in Papua New Guinea. Learn more about these experiences: https://awishforhumanity.org/lisbeth-moneton/

She is now working as an artistic painter and photographer and selling her art for A WISH FOR HUMANITY.

Pierre Monéton

Fondateur et Trésorier

Pierre has a long career as CEO of several multinational industrial companies. 

Pierre has worked in many different countries; the USA, China, Ecuador, France, Switzerland, Papua New Guinea, and Denmark.

Now Pierre is the Director of Real Estate Companies.

Hobbies include travel to exotic places and motorbiking.  Mountain hiking with a climb of Kilimanjaro in 2015, and a climb to Base Camp 2 on Mount Everest in 2022.

A WISH FOR HUMANITY is a French registered Foundation (Fonds de Dotation, SIRET NO. 908 030 893  00014). 

All cash donations for the benefit of A WISH FOR HUMANITY give rise to a tax reduction for taxpayers domiciled in France up to 66% of the sums spent.

DÉDUCTIONS FISCALES (pour les résidents fiscaux français)

 

Article 200 du CGI Donations faites par les particuliers : les particuliers ont droit à une réduction d'impôt sur le revenu égale à 66% des sommes (prises dans la limite de 20% du revenu imposable) qui correspondent à des dons et versements (en numéraire mais aussi à des dons en nature de biens mobiliers ou d'actions par exemple, y compris l'abandon de revenus ou de produits) effectués par des contribuables domiciliés en France. Lorsque le plafond de 20 % du revenu imposable est dépassé au cours de l'exercice, le trop-perçu donne lieu à une réduction d'impôt pour les cinq années suivantes.

Article 238 bis du CGI Dons effectués par les entreprises : Depuis le 1er janvier 2020, les entreprises bénéficient d'une réduction d'impôt sur le revenu égale à 60% des dons, ces derniers étant pris en compte dans la limite de 20 000 € ou 5 pour mille du chiffre d'affaires lorsque ce montant est supérieur (article 238 bis du le CGI). Pour votre information, les entreprises qui réalisent plus de 10 000 € de dons et versements au cours d'un exercice donnant droit à la réduction d'impôt prévue à ce même article, doivent déclarer à l'administration fiscale : – le montant et la date de ces dons et versements, – l'identité des bénéficiaires ainsi que, le cas échéant, la valeur des biens et services reçus, directement ou indirectement, en retour le cas échéant.
